I’m afraid if I spent $26m on anyhing, I’d want it to be a mansion. I’ve just bought two Omegas and I now know I’ve been shopping in the bargain basement!

    • Thomas Røed

Buying a mansion would be an ongoing cost. You might need a gardner, housekeeper, chef, or whatever. And even if you decide to do all that stuff yourself, you’d still need to pay property taxes, water and sewage, electricity and what not, so it would cost you a lot of money in the long-run.
I would buy a nice, smaller house, something below $1M, then use the rest of the money to buy gold or silver. Maybe stock in Microsoft or Apple. Netflix is definitely a good investment. Essentially I’d buy something that would give a long-term pay-off.

  • Robert Gornowich

I was gonna buy that 26m watch, then I remembered that I don’t have 26m.
    Maybe next year.

    • Hamza Dar
