Top 10 Countries to visit after Covid-19

10. Iceland

Iceland
Countries to visit after Covid-19.

Iceland has done an excellent job of adjusting to the changes brought on by COVID-19, but you can most likely find those during your stay. In the end, how your journey is influenced can be determined by the things you choose to participate in when you are there. Iceland is a country controlled by nature. Iceland is one of the most volcanically active ecosystems on the planet because of its position on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. You can visit certain beautiful places in Iceland. Reykjavik is the most famous destination for visitors to Iceland, and it is indeed not one to be missed. But if you want to explore Iceland, you have to go beyond Reykjavik.

Like, don’t forget to hit the beach at Breiðavík. In the summer, it’s the ideal spot for a long seaside walk; in the winter, cosy up with a thermos of hot chocolate and watch the sunset light the sky. Iceland also has a plethora of well-known waterfalls. Dettifoss is unrivalled in terms of sheer force – it is, after all, Europe’s most powerful waterfall. You could indeed drive there, but hiking through the Jökulsárgljfur National Park is far more enjoyable. On foot, you’ll be able to appreciate the sound of the falls when you move closer before you’re standing in front of them, facing down into the canyon below – an unforgettable sight and sound. Every August, a genuinely heartwarming spectacle takes place on the island of Heimaey. Adult puffins migrate out to sea at this point, and their chicks abandon their nests to join them in search of food.

This list is not just about beautiful places where you can enjoy yourself but also on budget. If you plan to visit Iceland on a budget, it should go without saying that you’ll need to locate some inexpensive accommodations. Fortunately, Iceland has a number of fantastic hostels scattered throughout the world, making your road trip much more affordable. If you intend on visiting any of Iceland’s nearby pubs, you might be shocked to learn that alcohol is very costly. This is due to the high taxation on alcoholic beverages, which is bad news for budget travellers. So, what options are available to you? The better choice is to purchase a Duty-Free bottle at your departure airport.

9. Costa Rica

Costa Rica
Countries to visit after Covid-19.

Costa Rica has one of the lowest Covid-19 fatality rates in Latin America. Its government has been praised for its good control of the virus, so travellers will be able to return with optimism as the nation reopens on November 1 to all Americans who fulfil the criteria. Also, no one can argue about the beauty of Costa Rica. You can do many fun activities in Costa Rica. Like zipping through the canopy rainforest. You will get an up-close and personal view of these extensive forests by taking a zip-line trip.

You may also visit the Baru National Wildlife Refuge. This refuge is another perfect illustration of Costa Rica’s beauty; with 800 acres of land, seven kilometres of walking tracks, and three kilometres of spectacular beaches is a great attraction. The park’s key activities include birdwatching, tree tours, and walking tours. Costa Rica has plenty of waves and opportunities to learn to surf, whether you’re in Puerto Viejo, Cahuita, Santa Theresa, or Tamarindo. In reality, most visitors come here to surf because of the world-famous waves.

Now, are you looking to save money in Costa Rica? Okay, for staying the night you can always choose hostel dorms. It will cost $10-15 USD per night, including free WiFi, and most hostels also offer complimentary breakfast. For your daily meal, you can expect around $2-5 USD. A lovely meal will cost approximately $15-20 dollars, and eating from the street vendors will cost less than $1. Also, you can avoid tourist busses and take a local bus for travelling; it will cost less.

8. Colombia

Colombia
Countries to visit after Covid-19.

Colombia offers a wide range of exciting events and attractions for people of all ages and budgets. While security upgrades, street crime remains a big issue in major cities such as Cartagena, Medellin, and Bogota. Avoid using your phone in public areas, taxis, or Uber to reduce your chance.

Parque Tayrona is a great place to unwind. Parque Tayrona is a largely undeveloped national park located on the Caribbean coast some six hours east of Cartagena. It is where the jungle reaches secluded beaches. Hike along the shores before you hit Playa Cabo San Juan, my recommendation for the best spot to rest. Spend up to a week in the Colombian jungle on a hike from Santa Marta or Taganga to Ciudad Perdida to feel like Indiana Jones. Also, you can go to the gold museum in Bogota, Scuba Diving, Paragliding, and many more.

Most hostel dorm rooms in Colombia cost between $10-15 USD per night. A meal at a restaurant serving local food will cost between $3-5 USD. Expect to pay about $48 USD a day if you’re backpacking across Colombia. This assumes you’ll be living in a hostel, enjoying local cuisine, preparing plenty of your own meals, and getting around using the local transportation.

7. Malaysia

Malaysia
Countries to visit after Covid-19.

Travelling across Malaysia is, in my opinion, one of the most underestimated activities in the country. The nation receives many visitors, but not quite as many as other Southeast Asian nations. Malaysia has a lot to give tourists, from the dense urban forest of Kuala Lumpur to the sandy beaches of the Perhentian Islands to the inland jungles and tasty foods.

Explore a tea plantation or spend the day with a traditional tribe in the Cameron Highlands. Trek via the Gunung Mulu and Taman Negara national parks to see amazing animals such as tigers, elephants, monkeys, tapir, bears, etc. Alternatively, travel to Borneo and search for wild orangutans, climb through the rainforest, and marvel at Mount Kinabalu’s razor-sharp peak. Travellers passing by on their journey to Thailand or Singapore are far too familiar with rushing through. I strongly advise you to avoid making the same mistakes.

You’ll pay around $37 a day on a backpacker’s budget. This budget would include a dorm bed in a hostel, mainly street food, public transit. But I recommend that you go for the mid-range budget, so for around $70 a day, you can get a private room in a hostel or a budget hotel, eat at a restaurant once a day, eat a variety of street food, take public transportation, and participate in more events. On this budget, you might even go trekking.

6. Greece

Greece

Greece is not only a stunning destination with its stunning ocean views, unique architecture, and delectable cuisine, but it’s also very inexpensive. You can travel through Greece for half of the cost of other European countries. People worldwide visit Greece because of its famous islands, known for their sun, and its towns are known for their culture. And, though the islands get the most coverage, the country’s central, with its small towns and mountains, is one of the country’s most underrated and overlooked tourist spots.

Greece is a very cost-effective vacation spot. The daily budget I recommend is $60-70 USD. This is assuming you remain in a guesthouse, eat decent food, prepare some of your meals, using public transportation. Whether you’re visiting the Greek islands or travelling during peak season, you should expect to pay more.

5. Indonesia

Indonesia is an island nation with over 17,000 islands and over 261 million inhabitants, is the world’s largest island country. It’s no surprise that Indonesia is a common travel destination for so many people, thanks to its low-cost local cuisine and affordable lodging. Indonesia offers a diverse range of activities. Although most travellers travel to Bali, the Gili Islands, or Lombok, I recommend that you strive to get to the less touristy and off-the-beaten-path destinations as often as possible.

You can explore the Prambanan temple. This Historical Site contains 244 temples, with the central complex serving as the key attraction. There are eight minor temples and eight main temples here, the tallest of which stands at 150 metres. You can also explore Jakarta; there are many things to see in Jakarta.

There is a place calls Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta is Indonesia’s cultural capital and, in comparison to Jakarta, is a much less industrialised area. Here, there’s a fascinating mix of ancient traditions and contemporary life. Also, you can go and watch the Banyu Wana Amertha waterfalls. Despite the fact that these are some of Bali’s most spectacular waterfalls, few people visit them.

Weekuri Lake is one of Sumba Island’s most scenic places. It is fed by the waves from the Indian Ocean smashing into cracks in the rocks, which are hidden behind 10-15 metre high cliffs. Swimming is fantastic because of the ice blue seas and tiny reef patches. You should even borrow inner tubes and ride around for an afternoon of relaxation.

There are many things to do in Indonesia, but It’s impossible to describe in one single list. But you can search the webs to find out more about Indonesia.

Now let’s talk about Indonesia’s travel costs. The expense of a bed in a dorm hostel dorm is just $7 USD. I suggest you to go for budget-friendly hotels because it only costs $14 USD, including free WiFi and breakfast. And, talking about food, Local foods are very cheap and delicious, if you go to a local restaurant your meal will cost $1-3 USD. But for a meal in an expensive restaurant will cost you $6-9 USD, including drinks.

4. Croatia

Croatia is one of Europe’s most well-known summer vacation destinations. It’s the place to go if you want to see beautiful beaches, rugged islands, historic architecture, and all the sailing you can handle. Although it is no longer as inexpensive as it once was, it is still a budget-friendly choice compared to European Countries.

It will be foolish to visit Croatia without going island hopping, as it has over 1,000 islands. You should plan on staying on one of the islands for at least 2-3 days to really immerse yourself in the Croatian culture. Brac, Hvar, and Cres are among the most famous islands to explore. You should also pay a visit to St. James Church.

The church of St. James is thought to be the world’s biggest stone structure. It’s a 1431 start-to-finish architectural marvel that took until 1536 to build. The Krka Serbian Orthodox monastery, dedicated to the Archangel Michael, was established in 1345 and is one of Croatia’s most significant religious places. It’s a nice place to pay a visit. Also, you can go for diving in Croatia, between May and November, the diving environments are at their highest. Croatia is known for being one of the finest sailing destinations in the world. It makes for an excellent destination to visit by boat, with calm waves, short distances, and a coastline dotted with islands and historical places.

Now talking about Croatia’s expenses, budget two-star hotels including free WiFi, breakfast, TV, AC will cost you $40-60 USD per night. Traditional food costs about $9 USD. Maybe it will cost $100-150 USD per day, including diving, staying in hotels, eating out, hiking, etc.

3. Portugal

The city of love. Portugal is gifted with white sandy beaches. A rough coastline, multicultural and architecturally spectacular suburbs, and exceptional weather. With amazing food, plenty of wine, and reasonable rates, it’s the ideal vacation destination. Portugal is one of the most underrated countries in the world. There are several things to see and do in Portugal.

Travelling to Evora is an example of this. Evora, a tiny town with a variety of stunning and ancient houses, is another one of Portugal’s Historic Sites. The Temple of Diana is the city’s most well-known icon. In Braga, you may even see the Religious Temples. The charming city of Braga has numerous Classical temples, including the Bom Jesus Sanctuary, which is one of the country’s most well-known sights. You can not leave Portugal without having a sense of the country’s musical history, whether you are in Lisbon or elsewhere. As an example Fado. Fado is a very important Portuguese musical performance that dates back at least 200 years. A single person performs it, and it’s a lovely and emotional song.

In general, you’ll find lodging in Portugal to be relatively cheap, especially if you stay in hotels. The majority of 2-star hotels would set you back $30 USD per night. And if you want a sit-down meal with beverages, expect to pay between $15 and $20 USD per individual. In Portugal, activities are reasonably priced. If you want to visit Portugal, My recommended budget will be $60-70 USD per day.

2. Cyprus

Cyprus’s government has proposed an intriguing agreement to boost tourism and encourage both COVID-affected and non-affected people to visit the country. The nation has declared that if the virus infects any visitors entering their country, the government will take care of their lodging, meals, medicine, and everything else for free.

You can explore the ancient ruins. In Paphos, the Tombs of the Kings are the most well-known archaeological site. And the island of Cyprus has a lot of beaches, which comes as no surprise. Choose from a variety of resorts and hotels located directly on the coast. You can also travel to the scenic wine path in the mountains. It’s no surprise that Cyprus has a long tradition of wine, and the island is the ideal place for it. On the other hand, Sterna Winery is where you can go if you want to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. It’s a quiet, comfortable winery shop with a small menu and a pleasant view.

If you want to stay in a hotel, It will cost about $40-50 USD per night, including free WiFi and breakfast. Talking about foods, your per meal will cost $5-10 USD. Buses are available to ride between cities and within the cities but I recommend you to rent a car because it will cost $20 USD per day.

1. Italy

Countries to visit after Covid-19.

During the COVID pandemic, Italy suffered a severe blow. Their attitude, on the other hand, is admirable, since they have not only reduced the number of cases but have opened up travelling opportunities for foreign visitors. There are several limits on the countries visitors can visit, but they are more than welcome to visit Italy’s most beautiful locations!

Sicily has opened its doors to visitors for various causes, one of which is that Italy’s economy is highly reliant on tourism. Sicily is willing to refund 50% of a tourist’s travel costs as a beach destination in the country. In reality, there’s a chance to win a free night’s stay! Tourists will even visit several museums and tourism attractions without having to purchase passes. Also, Italy is a wonderful country to visit because of its wonderful cuisine, gorgeous scenery, fantastic wine, and long history.

Now, I’m not talking about Italy’s beauty and guide because everyone knows about it. Now you may ask that why I put Italy at the top of my list. It is because Italy already cut down their ticket prices because of the Covid pandemic. So, grab your chance now. You can do and watch many things in Italy, like watching the Venice carnival, visit Siena, relax on the lakes, eat in Sicily, Attend Settimana Santa, a day trip to Luca and many more.

The majority of hostels have complimentary linens and WiFi. For the most simple of quarters, you may expect to pay about $50 USD per night. And taking Covid-19 pandemic, on the other hand, maybe you will get $10-30 USD off. Unique noodles, bread, veggies, pie, cheesecake, pizza and wine are some of Italy’s most well-known dishes. It’s convenient to have a decent meal anywhere in Italy, but if you put forth the initiative, it’s also possible to eat for less than 15 USD per day. The majority of restaurant meals with wine will set you back about $25 per individual. And, some activities will cost you nothing because of the Covid-19 pandemic. My suggested budget is $30-60 USD per day.
