There are some ordinary products out there which we use every day that are quite expensive than their usual price tag. They are the affordable, not-so-special ordinary things that we use every day without giving much thought to. From toothpaste to a toilet seat, is how ordinary we mean. They are the fancy version of everyday products. Some companies produce these bizarre limited editions or one-time product that cost a bank-breaking sum.

Most of it if not all, these expensive, ordinary things can only be bought by wealthy people who can afford the luxury of having luxurious ordinary things for their everyday use.

Now, you might be thinking, “Why are they so expensive? ” What are they? ” “Is it worth the cost?” So, here are 10 insanely expensive ordinary things that will shock you when you see the price tag.

This Theodent toothpaste company sells their Theodent 300 toothpaste product for around $99.99. Why is it so expensive, you ask? Well, Thodent claim and show data that their toothpaste works better in remineralizing enamel and hardening teeth than the many top toothpaste companies out there. They can do this without using fluoride which is incredible as you might know fluoride is good and works very well at hardening teeth but it’s also known to have some health risks.

Their data also showed that it worked better than fluoride. How do they do that? Well, they use cocoa from plants in their toothpaste. They extract the good part of cocoa called ‘Theobromine’ which is then mixed with calcium and phosphate. Unlike fluoride, it is not harmful to our bodies, therefore there’s no problem if it is swallowed. 

They also sell toothpaste in chocolate flavor for kids and adults who are kids in the heart which is not as expensive as Theodent 300.

Despite the cost, it might be a good investment for those who have very sensitive teeth, worried parents who are looking for fluoride alternative toothpaste for their kids, and chocolate lovers.

Also, these luxury pieces can be used with any ordinary stapler, so you don’t have to spend any more money to buy a special kind of stapler. During your lunch break at your work, you can casually brag about these gold pins to your colleagues.

The Ultimate pencil is worth a staggering price of $12, 800. Thus it has claimed the title- yes, you have guessed it- the world’s most expensive pencil title.

It is made of 240-year-old olive wood. The cap is made out of 24-carat white gold and the top of the cap is studded with 3 diamonds. Only 10 of them had been produced.

They do sell affordable replicas of this which are made of sterling silver and platinum.

This vacuum cleaner is decked out in all gold making it worth a groundbreaking $1 million. Only 100 of them were said to be produced. Everything is coated with a layer of 24k gold except for its motor, wheels, and bag and weighs about 16 pounds. Naturally, it is the most expensive vacuum cleaner in the world that you can find out there. You might wonder what kind of rich person would be interested in buying it because most likely a rich person wouldn’t fancy cleaning or vacuuming their mansion, so why would it be a useful purchase? Well, we think rich people who like to collect rare expensive stuff might be interested in it.

Designed with 100 diamonds on its side, 80 diamonds on the string, and 100 diamonds inside of the teabag. Of course, it wouldn’t be called a teabag if they didn’t add some tea leaves inside so, they have decided to put some rare expensive tea leaves inside as well. The rare tea leaves were picked from the oldest garden in India. In addition, it is priced at around $10,000, claiming the title of the world’s most expensive tea bag.

A truly unique umbrella to say the least because it is made of crocodile skin. It is a waterproof high-quality umbrella with a price tag of $50,000. It was designed by Angelo Galasso for the Billionaire Italian Couture, the Italian luxury brand for only men. You will have no problem standing out in a crowd with this unique umbrella but we do wonder if it is heavy.
